This restaurant is a hidden gem, run by a very kind, cheerful man who’s a fantastic host. The food is delicious and generous, and the menu is flexible—especially for vegetarians, with no extra charges. Plus, it has its own parking! It’s my third time here, and I’m absolutely delighted!
Super sweet and kind host who serves our family of 4. He. He carefully took our order to make sure it met our vegetarian needs. Thank you for the yummy food and great service!
Amazing Lunch. The servers and cooks are Thai or Laos and they know how to cook Heyyy I ordered my Thai soul food RadNa Beef: beef n broccoli stir fry in a black sweet soy saucy gravy on top of stir fried wide rice noodles. I ordered dessert to go Mango n Sweet sticky rice, Heck Yes, it was absolutely perfect! Sweet salty ratio Mmmm - Go get you some of this Berkeley/Oakland institution since 1986 in your life.
The food was amazing, I had their green curry, fried tofu, chicken satay, chicken coconut soup and garlic noodles. It was all very flavorful and a lot of the portion. You didnt just get a small bowl of curry/soup you get a very large bowl. The service was great, you got the waiters attention very easily and the food came super fast, they answered our questions, and gave us everything we needed. The ambiance was very welcoming, and warm. They have a fountain that had a great vibe. Tge ambiance is also quiet and not to many people. I would recommend this place to anybody!
We waltzed in with 8 people and were greeted with a well appointed table and warm hospitality. The food was delicious, arriving in quick succession which - as anyone who’s been in the company of hangry kids knows - is well appreciated. We will go again!
spicy chicken fried rice is great. Pad Kee Mao is freaking fire.
